Hi, my name is Louise. I love dogs and have three of my own. I first started grooming dogs when I was a young teenager and I met a talented professional dog groomer at the vet clinic where I worked after school. I began working with the professional groomer and over a number of years I developed the knowledge and skills to clip and groom all breeds of dogs.

In 2010 I started my own independent professional grooming business based in Taranaki called ‘Happy Dogs’. Happy dogs was based from my home and also at two vet clinics in the region. My client base consisted of a large range of breeds of dogs as well as cats and the occasional rabbit. Before I left Taranaki to pursue other plans, I trained two new groomers who took over Happy Dogs.

My family and I are now settled in Northland at Ruakaka Beach. We have set up Kind Clips to provide a full professional grooming service for all breeds of dogs and any other pet that requires grooming and/ or clipping. 

My goal is to ensure that any pet that comes to Kind Clips leaves feeling great, looking just how the owner likes them and smelling nice too. Every effort will be made to ensure that each dog feels as comfortable as possible during the grooming process.  With time and kindness even nervous pets can learn that a trip to the groomer isn’t all that bad.
